SCRIPS GIFT CARDS

Scrips is a no sell approach to fundraising. Retailers donate a portion of every gift card sold to SPELC. The cards look and can be used just like any other gift card. We have been able to sustain the preschool program with the proceeds from the clothing sale. However, the preschool building needs several structural repairs, of which the biggest is a new roof. Scrips will help us meet this goal.

SCHOLASTIC BOOKS

Scholastic Books offer a lot of great literature at discount prices, usually much less than the bookstore or even Wal-Mart. You fill out your order and turn it into the office and we will distribute the books to you when they come in. It is that easy!

Our school earns “points” for your orders and with these points we purchase things for the school and your child’s classroom. In the past we have earned enough points for a new computer in the office, a new VCR/DVD player and TONS of books and various supplies for our classrooms. We’ve enjoyed a great return from our parents investment in reading and we believe our students have too! Reading with your children now is one of the best things you can do to promote achievement in school!
