Be a Part of a Growing Community

St. Philip Early Learning Center (SPELC) is a state licensed facility operating from September through May. Once you have decided that St. Philip Early Learning Center is the preschool of your choice, we work to place your child in the appropriate class with the objective to create a balanced and enriched, developmentally appropriate learning environment, taking into consideration the needs, age, sex and day requirements of each child.

Once you have chosen SPELC, we request that you submit the following:

• Registration Form
• $75 non-refundable registration fee per child, $100 per family

Admission to the school will be based on the following:

• First come, first served basis
• Children 12 months and independently walking through 6 years of age
• Children must be the age required for a particular group by October 1st, the age deadline for Jefferson County School District admission
• Children do not need to be potty trained, at any age, for enrollment
• SPELC admits students of any race, color & national or ethnic origin

If there are no openings in your child’s age group, your child will be placed on a “waiting list” and your registration fee will be refunded. Once an opening becomes available, you will be notified.

Prior to your child’s first day of school, various medical and emergency contact forms will need to be filled out and signed.
