Our dedicated staff consists of qualified individuals who enjoy working with young children. All Group Leaders (teachers) have formal education training and/or work experience in early childhood education and are qualified per the Colorado State Rules and Regulations governing Child Care/Preschool Facilities.
SPELC is a member of the local Colorado affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which offers seminars and workshops that our staff attend. The staff receives 15 hours of Professional Growth annually through seminars, workshops and in-house training on various early childhood topics.
All staff members are trained yearly in building safety, pediatric first aid, pediatric/adult CPR, and universal precautions.
